The Stamping Hammer is used to strike stamps and steel tools when a strong impact is desired. The brass end will not mar the stamps while the steel end will strike with more force when that is desired.
The hammer has a very solid feel as a steel rod runs through the padauk wood handle. Handle tightening is easily done with a Hex or Allen wrench. This is also the idea hammer for removing Fretz Stakes from the various Fretz Holders.
